Rape and abuse are still such taboo subjects in our society that woman’s support organizations are terribly under funded and over worked. Most of the women who are getting the information provided by the organizations are the ones who have already been victimized.The support organizations  just don’t have the financial capability to get the information out to women before something happens.

Stop Rape And Abuse.com, a cooperative blog, is an effort by Theresa Murphy and Dennis Mahoney, the creators of LIVE: Lessons In Violence Evasion, to give women a voice online and to make the enormous amount of information from woman’s support organizations available to women before they experience violence in their life.
